Week 11, Term 2

What a busy term we have had! We want to say a big "Thank you!" to Mrs Ralph. It has been great having you in Matai for the last 4 weeks and we appreciate how kind and helpful you are!

We can write in all kinds of ways! Here we are writing by typing in 'book creator' on the i-pads, and also practising our spelling words outside with chalk in the sunshine.

We are pattern creators in Matai. We have been learning about repeating patterns- some children can make a repeating pattern with 5 parts! We are finding other kinds of patterns too, such as sequential patterns that get bigger each time. We are using a new i-pad app to help us share our thinking about our patterns on our own blogs.

Ryder was proud of the truck he built; Cooper helped Kayden and Maggie build this amazing truck.  The trailer's extendable boom is taller than Kayden and Maggie!!!! 

Theo focused diligently when making a truck licence; it's illegal to drive trucks without a licence!
