What a fun Friday we have had 😊

Mrs Polaschek shared big book titled 'The Giant's Ice Cream' this week with Matai.  After being 'in character' as either the giant or the cat, WE made our own ice cream! 😋 

Lily T starred in Myross Bush X-Factor today...

Lily did an aerobic performance and won her age group category. Congratulations Lily, you were amazing! 👍😊

We were treated to Mrs Polaschek sing 'Wishing you were somehow here again' while the judges were deliberating. Such a true and beautiful voice, and I'm looking forward to seeing her in Phantom of the Opera. 

The children will bring home a packet of reading books to read over the holidays. Reading a little and often really helps to maintain those great reading skills. It is really encouraging to see how excited the children get when they learn new sounds and words. We have a proud bunch of learners in Matai. We look forward to meeting with you in the new term to talk about the children's learning. Have a safe and happy break!
