Week 3

Last week It was great to catch up with so many parents and children at the interviews and parent seminars. Our door is always open and we welcome your questions and thoughts at any time. We are always interested in hearing about how we can make our new families and their children transition into our school successfully. It is great to have Laura and Bonnie join our class this week.

Thank you to the parents who have been able to volunteer to type up the children's stories. This is a big help to us.

This week the children have enjoyed the introduction of a hospital action station. I am always amazed by how creative they are. They have introduced food for the patients and are wanting to make an oven!
Ella and Sophie preparing food for the hospital .

We have learnt lots about empathy and the children have displayed empathy to each other on many occasions as they have played in the hospital. One of our problems was that everyone wanted to be a doctor and we didn't have enough patients. We have learnt about turn
taking and being fair.
The children are working out how they can make their wounds look more real.

Amber made a stethoscope out of pipe-cleaners.
Congratulations to Karolis who won player of the day. He passed the ball and scored lots of tries. We are so proud of you.
