Week 2, Term 3

We welcome Jack and his family to school this week. It's been great to catch up with so many parents at both our teaching philosophy meetings and our parent interviews as we share how things work in Matai. We have a performance focus happening at action station time, and some great thinking about how to perform for somebody, how to take turns and what makes good audience. We are making some box constructions at the moment, so any boxes or interesting bits and pieces we can use for construction would be most welcome.

The children discovered what looks like a dinosaur footprint in the school grounds! They were very excited. We are going to do some writing about where it might have come from.
