We welcome Mrs Ralph to Matai for the next four weeks. It's great getting to know you Mrs Ralph! Mrs Lemin is joining us on Wednesdays for the rest of the term. This week we also welcome Brooke and her family to Matai.
It has been exciting to see our broad bean plants begin to sprout, especially in the cool weather. Here is a time lapse video of what it looks like sped up. It's very exciting to watch!
We have been noticing what happens when our plants don't have enough of what they need, like sun or water. We have been sharing our ideas by drawing, making models with play dough and acting out our ideas and videoing them. Our speaking skills are improving and we are learning a lot by listening to others ideas.
We spoke to the children this week about leaving their special toys and trinkets at home so they are not lost or broken. Thank you for your help with this. Keep your eye out for your child's turn at the 'mystery bag'. Six children will have a turn at this each Friday starting this week.
