Term 1, Week 6

Wow! We are enjoying our first week of swimming, and it's exciting to see progress happening already! You are welcome to pick your child up from the pool if this suits you. Please let a teacher know at the pool when you take your child to help us know we have everybody safe and in the right place! Thank you to all the helpers in the pool and the changing rooms! We have started putting some of our great work on the children's own blogs, linked off our main 'Matai Kids' blog page. You might see photos of our action station work, or our writing. Check them out and leave a comment for us! The children will be very excited to receive your feedback. We are aiming to check the children's homework in the mornings before school during the week, so you may notice new goals appearing in their books on a different day. This could include alphabet and sight words, maths goals, spelling and/or reading logs.
