Sharing

Everyday different children share some news or a toy with the class. This is a great way to build up their ability to talk in front of others. Here are two children who showed us their toys today.

A Challenge!

Today we had fun catching cardboard pancakes. The children taught each other once they had mastered the skill themselves.

Week 3

We have been working on getting along together. We have been doing this by dancing together and taking turns picking the music and working together to make a jigsaw puzzle.

Paper Chains

Today the children had lots of fun making long paper chains. They picked some colours and had to cut out strips and then join them together. "Ours is longer than an albatross's wing span". We have been reading about albatrosses in one of our reading groups today!

Grandparents and family reading

On Friday, lots of our wonderful families joined us for a reading session with the children, it was truly lovely listening to all the stories being shared. Thank you to all who attended.

Making ice cream

Today we had an ice cream shop. The children had to work out how to make a cone and then the ice cream maker filled it up with shaving foam and sprinkled it with glitter. They look really yummy!

Making Pets

After having such a lovely Pet Day last week some of the children made likenesses of their pets out of loose parts.
